My name is Eleanor Klock, I am an Oregon-based artist and a graduating senior at West Albany High School. I mainly focus on sculpture work, and chose the 3-D track for my AP Studio Art class. My concentration revolves around my Filipino heritage, and discovering my identity. It was inspired by a recent trip I took to my mother's home province in the Philippines (pictured above). Taking a close-up approach on Filipino culture, I used various mediums, such as polymer clay and plaster, to convey ideas of food and family. This series was experimental and a learning process.
